Build a distinctive private practice that supports the life you actually want.

Business mentorship exclusively for licensed couples therapists in private practice

You have the clinical expertise. You have the couples therapy specialty.

What you don't have is a practice built to reflect it — one that finds the right couples, charges what the work is worth, and runs on your terms.

Or a community to help you build one.

That's what Couples Therapist Studio creates.

Hi, I’m Susan Saint-Rossy.

I teach couples therapists how to build private practices that can actually hold couples work, by fixing both how your practice is seen and how it’s built.

Because couples therapy breaks models designed for individual clients.

Two people on the calendar.

Ninety-minute sessions that somehow pay like fifty.

Consult calls where one partner is ready and the other is halfway out the door.

Weeks where the wrong couples reach out for help and the right ones never quite find you.

Couples Therapist Studio exists because most advice treats marketing and business as separate problems. Get visible over here. Clean up systems over there.

Meanwhile, couples keep reaching out confused, hesitant, or not actually ready—and the work starts wobbly before it even begins.

Inside CTS, we work on signal and structure together. We clarify how you’re seen so couples can recognize themselves and orient.

And we build the business scaffolding—fees, pacing, scheduling—that makes it possible to say yes to the right couples without burning yourself out.

No individual-therapy marketing repurposed for couples work.

No visibility that creates more chaos instead of better clients.

No beautifully designed practice that still can’t hold the load.

The result is simple: the right couples find you, the work starts cleaner, and your practice becomes steadier and more profitable over time.

That’s not hype. That’s coherence—for couples therapy.

The CTS story

Before I became a therapist, I spent a decade in the corporate world as a management consultant and marketing director—learning the structures and strategies that make marketing effective and systems run smoothly.

I brought those tools with me into private practice, building thriving businesses on four continents and, eventually, a full-fee practice here in the U.S. that supports a creative, grounded life. (Here I am in Chennai, India, where I lived after Botswana, Russia, and China.)

These days, my work funds afternoons in my art studio, weekly trips to the animal sanctuary with one twin, and thrift-store treasure hunts with the other. It’s a business that fits me—not the other way around.

That’s what I help you create, too: a practice that sustains your clinical art, your family, your freedom.

Because you can do meaningful work and build a life that feels like your own masterpiece.

This isn’t business management or therapy practice-building with a side of cringe.

Most business advice for therapists feels like it was built for someone else.

Someone louder. Less relational. More into hacks.

Private practice doesn’t have to mean pushing past your limits or selling yourself in ways that feel off.

CTS offers business support that respects your boundaries and trusts your instincts. We build structure that steadies without squeezing and strategy that feels like you.

It’s for couples therapists who’ve had enough of trying to fit into business models that were never made for them.

If you're a couples therapist who wants more clients you enjoy working with at a fee that supports you, and more time to breathe, you're in the right place.

Working in the Studio

Whether you’re just beginning to shape your couples therapy practice or ready to refine what you’ve already built, there’s a way to work together that meets you where you are.

Each way I help you is designed to support you in having a practice with more clarity, more calm, and more congruence—with who you are and how you work.

I invite you to join the Couples Therapy Studio community, where we work creatively together to reinvent your unique couples therapy private practice based on your strengths as a clinician and desires for a lifestyle that fits you.

Couples Therapist Studio exists because the profession keeps producing invisible clinicians — talented, well-trained, and chronically underearning. That is not a personal failure. It is a structural one. These offers are designed to dismantle it.

The Signal Problem: Why good couples therapists stay invisible

Free PDF

Something is wrong, and you already know it. You have the training, the hours, the modality specialization — and you are still not finding the clients you want at the fees you deserve.

The Signal Problem is a free guide that names what is actually happening: not a marketing failure, not a confidence problem, not a credentials gap.

A signal problem. Your clinical identity is not reaching the people who need it. This guide shows you why — and what it takes to fix it.

The Art of Signal Audio Workshop with Reflections Workbook

$27

Most couples therapists are trying to solve a visibility problem with tactics — better bios, more directories, cheaper fees.

The Art of Signal teaches something prior to tactics: how to build a signal coherent enough to do real work.

This audio workshop walks you through the architecture of a distinctive professional identity — what it is made of, how it gets t+ransmitted, and why the clinicians who seem to effortlessly fill their practices are not lucky. They are legible.

The Reflections Workbook moves the listening into action.

You will not finish this the same way you started it.

The Illuminations Hour

Free for anyone who purchases The Art of Signal Audio Workshop

This is a 60-minute 1:1 with Susan — It’s a possibilities discussion, not a coaching session.

It is a signal analysis and an imagining of your future.

You bring your practice as it exists: what you charge, who you see, how you present publicly, what is and is not working. Susan gives you feedback on your current signal, gets you to articulate what you want from your private practice, and helps you envision it.

For clinicians who are right for Plenty (see below), this is also where that conversation begins.

Plenty

The complete CTS system

Plenty is the full architecture — a two-phase system for licensed couples therapists who are done being invisible, underpaid, and overworked.

Phase One, Claim, is the excavation: clinical identity, practice design, fee psychology, and signal — treated not as separate tasks but as the single act of self-definition they are.

Phase Two, Transmit, puts that signal to work: visibility channels, directory and SEO strategy, paid advertising, and the full threshold process from first inquiry to first session — including the ethics constraint that makes all of this matter more than it does for any other specialty.

Plenty is not a business coaching program. It is not a generic private practice curriculum with couples therapy bolted on.

It is the only system built specifically for licensed clinicians in couples therapy private practice — from the ground up, for the specific dynamics of this work.

This is just the beginning.

Couples Therapist Studio is more than a collection of courses and mentoring.

It’s a growing community of creative, ambitious therapists who believe that serving couples doesn’t mean losing your time, your creativity, yourself.
